Understanding Before Cleanup

You shouldn’t have to commit to a bookkeeping cleanup without first understanding the condition of your books.

During your Diagnostic Review, I examine your QuickBooks Online file for the problems affecting the accuracy and reliability of your financial records.

Your review may identify issues such as:

• Financial reports that make your business look better or worse
• Inflation or deflation
• Duplicate, missing, or incorrectly categorized transactions
• Unexplained balances
• Problems within the chart of accounts (your business financial directory)

The complimentary Diagnostic Review carries the same $499 value as the paid review. Complimentary availability is limited because every file is personally examined—not pushed through an automated score generator and handed back wearing an AI opinion.

How the Complimentary Review Works

1. Submit Your Application

Tell me about your business, your QuickBooks Online file, and the concerns you have about your books.

2. Applications Are Reviewed

Up to 5 qualified businesses are selected each month. Selection is based on service fit, current availability, and whether a Diagnostic Review is the appropriate next step.

3. Provide QuickBooks Online Access

If selected, you’ll receive instructions for securely inviting Empire Ledgers to your QuickBooks Online file.

Access must be provided within 48 hours of acceptance. If access is not received, the opening may be offered to another applicant.

4. Receive Your Findings

Complimentary reviews are completed within 24 hours after access is received. This is an in depth reporting system, not a few clicks.

You’ll receive your findings and recommended next steps. If cleanup is needed, you may request a cleanup proposal—but there is no obligation to hire Empire Ledgers.
